Following are some common conversions you can use to convert the recipes using metric or standard measurements.  However I stress that when cooking you do not need to follow the recipe exactly.  Recipes are meant to be used as a guide and should be prepared to your liking.  After all, you have to eat it.  If you add a little more or less of an ingredient it won’t be a disaster.  Baking is another story, if you don’t get your measurements right, you just might have a disaster.
