Following are some common conversions you can use to convert the recipes using metric or standard measurements. However I stress that when cooking you do not need to follow the recipe exactly. Recipes are meant to be used as a guide and should be prepared to your liking. After all, you have to eat it. If you add a little more or less of an ingredient it won’t be a disaster. Baking is another story, if you don’t get your measurements right, you just might have a disaster. |

In order to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit; Multiply by 9, divide by 5 (Celsius x 9/5) then add 32. To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius do the opposite, subtract 32, multiply by 5 then divide by 9 (Fahrenheit x 5/9)
