Cookin101.com LLC Official Contest Rules

The weekly ongoing Cookin101.com Weekly Cooking Trivia Contest or (“The Contest”).  The contest is a knowledge skill based contest.  By entering the Contest you agree to these rules and regulations as well as the Terms of Use of Cookin101.com.  If you do not agree you should cease all use of Cookin101 or “The Site”.  Contests are run and sponsored by Cookin101.com LLC (“Cookin101.com”, “Sponsor”, “we” or “us”)

There is no purchase necessary to enter into the Cookin101.com Weekly Trivia Contest”

1. Who May Enter

The Cookin101.com Weekly Trivia is open to all persons over the age of 18.  Children under the age of 18 will not be considered in the contest drawing.  Past winners will not be considered for current Contests until their free yearly membership has expired.  Past winners may still enter the contest for fun, but will not be considered in the random drawing.   

2. The Prize

Winners will be awarded a yearly membership and free access to all exclusive content on the Cookin101.com web site for one full year. 
The approximate retail value of the prize is ninety five US dollars ($95.00 USD).

3. How to Enter

Contestants (“you”) may enter into the Contest by playing the “Weekly Trivia” on the Cookin101.com Web page.  To enter into the Contest, contestants must answer all trivia questions correctly.  If all questions are not answered correctly, you will not be entered in the weekly drawing.  The contestant will not be allowed to enter the current Contest again with the same e-mail address until the following week’s Contest. 

4. Selection of a Winner
 
The weekly contest will begin at 12:00 pm every Monday and end the following Sunday at 11:59 pm.  All times are Eastern Standard Time.  To be eligible for a drawing, entries must be received by 11:59 Sunday night.  The winner will be selected via a random drawing from the total number of winners from the Weekly Contest.  The running time of each Contest will be one week.

5. Required Information

Contestants will be required to enter their name, City of residence, Country of residence and e-mail address.  Other non-required information may be requested such as telephone number, age or gender. 

Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winners name, city, state, and country if desired.   If you do not want your name, city and country disclosed do not enter the Contest.  No other personal information will be disclosed.  First names and cities of contest winners will be posted on the list of past winners.  A list of past winners will be available on Cookin101.com.  Please see our Privacy Statement for more information. 

6. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning will depend on how many entries are received each week.  If one thousand (1,000) people answer the trivia questions correctly, the odds would be one in one thousand (1/1,000) odds of winning.

7. How Winners are Chosen

Winners will be chosen each week at random from the list of contestants who answered all trivia questions correctly.  Winners will be notified through the e-mail entered when playing the Weekly Trivia.  Winners will be sent an e-mail containing a username and password in order to access Cookin101.com.  They will have full access to the Web site for one year from the day they receive the username and password. 

8. Privacy

Any information the contestant enters will never be sold or shared with any third parties.  We appreciate your interest in Cookin101.com and hope you keep coming back every week until you win.  Please see our Privacy Statement for more detailed information.  Contestants may be sent the Cookin101.com newsletter or other information from Cookin101.com that we feel may interest you.  You may unsubscribe at any time by sending us an e-mail. 

9. General Terms and conditions: Void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations. Entrants, by entering the Contest agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Cookin101.com LLC whose decisions are final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from the Contest.

Cookin101.com LLC reserves the right to permanently disqualify from any Contest it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules.   Cookin101.com LLC is not responsible for telephone, network, electronic or computer failures of any kind, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged or undelivered.  We reserve the right to change these rules and regulations when we see fit.  The date of the last changes will be posted on Cookin101.com.  By using the site you agree to these changes.
